A closer look at how RAF works
From your first sign-in to a finished task, here is what happens and where you remain in control.
Open workspace- 01
Create your private workspace
Sign in with Google or email and password. Your chat threads and connected services are scoped to your account. You can begin a general conversation before connecting anything.
- 02
Choose a plan before checkout
RAF shows four monthly prices and each plan's task and connection limits before checkout. RAF is free during the beta. When paid plans open, a new subscription includes seven free days with a card, and your plan begins charging after the trial unless you cancel in the billing portal first.
- 03
Connect only the services you need
Open Integrations, choose a service, and complete its provider connection flow. RAF uses your user ID to keep the connection separate from other customers. Provider passwords do not enter RAF's chat interface.
- 04
Get a first look
After a new connection succeeds, RAF can start a read-only initial review. The workspace displays its progress. If the provider returns nothing or blocks a step, RAF should say what happened rather than invent a finding.
- 05
Ask for an outcome
Describe the result you need in plain language. RAF can consult connected tools, summarize the useful context, and present a recommendation. Tool steps appear in the activity trail with expandable detail.
- 06
Review a proposed action
When RAF presents an approval card, you can approve, modify, or decline the proposal. The card records your decision. Check the final activity result before treating an external action as complete.
- 07
Choose text or voice
Use live voice for conversation, or play a written answer aloud. For requests involving your connected accounts, use the text workspace so you can inspect the tool trail.
- 08
Return on phone or desktop
Your threads remain available when you sign back in. On a supported phone browser, you can add RAF to your home screen for an app-style workspace.
Questions before you begin
Straight answers about access, connections, voice, and your data.
Do I need to connect an account before I can chat?
No. Sign in to open your private workspace and chat with RAF. Connect a service only when you want RAF to use information from that service.
How is RAF different from a regular AI chat?
Chat assistants mostly answer. RAF works inside the tools you connect: it reads, sorts, drafts, and prepares actions, shows every step in an activity trail, and waits for your approval before anything consequential runs.
What can RAF do without asking me?
Read, search, summarize, and create private drafts. Sending, scheduling with attendees, updating shared records, deleting, sharing, and payments are held by RAF's server until you press Approve on the approval card.
What happens when I connect Gmail or Calendar?
You complete the provider's connection flow. RAF ties the connection to your user account. A first, read-only review may run after a successful connection; its status appears in your workspace.
How can I tell what RAF actually did?
Open the activity trail in a chat response. Each tool step has a status and expandable execution detail. If a step fails, RAF should show the blocker and a practical next step.
Can live voice use my connected accounts?
Not currently. Live voice is for conversation. Use the text workspace when a request needs connected tools and a visible execution record. You can also play a written RAF reply aloud.
Will my conversations be there when I return?
Yes. RAF saves conversation threads to your private account so you can reopen them later. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and contact options.
Is there a paid trial or subscription to cancel?
RAF is free during the beta, with no card. When paid plans open, each subscription starts with seven free days and requires a card. The monthly price starts after the trial unless you cancel first, and you can cancel yourself anytime in the Stripe billing portal linked from the Pricing page.
What counts as a task?
One request to RAF, including every tool step it runs to finish that request. Plans differ by how many tasks they include each month and how many tools you can connect.
